After some two decades with the band, frontman Steven Page has left Barenaked Ladies to go solo. In a joint statement posted on the band's website, Page states, "These guys are my brothers. We've grown up together over the past twenty years. I love them and wish them all the best in the future." The split is said to be amicable.
The remaining Ladies will be entering the studio in April to record a new album.
