Most Surreal Gig of the Year: Did you ever think questions like “What should I do with my 401k?” or, “Is now a good time to invest in the stock market?” would ever be directed in all seriousness to former GnR and current Velvet Revolver bassist Duff McKagan, someone whose one-time prodigious alcohol and drug intake would have likely depleted his past financial windfall or at the the very least made him forget what he'd done with the loot? (This is a man, after all, who allegedly had the beer on The Simpsons named after him.)
Well, believe it or not, it's true: the now clean-and-sober, and purported health nut has become Playboy magazine's resident financial advisor. Oh, his column/blog is called "Duffonomics." Yup.
