Ground-breaking session drummer Earl Palmer, whose numerous and diverse credits include Fats Domino, The Monkees, Little Richard, The Righteous Brothers, Frank Sinatra, Ike and Tina Turner, Neil Young; and who worked for both Phil Spector and Motown, died on Friday, Sept. 19th after a lengthy illness.
He was 84.
