Former Replacements drummer Steve Foley passed away in Minneapolis on Aug. 23rd from an accidental prescription drug overdose. Foley, who played on the band's last tour--for their final album All Shook Down--replaced original drummer Chris Mars in 1990. He later joined fellow former Replacement Tommy Stinson in the short-lived band Bash and Pop.
He was 49 years old.
