[Last week was my younger brother's birthday. Despite both of us being singers/guitarists/songwriters, we've never collaborated musically, aside from sharing a stage a few times here and there, over the years.
When I heard the Finn Brothers album by Tim and Neill Finn--of Split Enz / Crowded House fame--I was inspired to get together with my bro and write and record some tunes. Things got a bit hectic, I got busy with other projects and ultimately kinda forgot about it.
But coming across this performance of "Wiser Time"--from my favorite Black Crowes album Amorica--by siblings Chris and Rich Robinson on The Late Show with David Letterman, brought it all back again.
