Incredibly, Sex and the City: The Movie handily beat The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, the latest installment of the Indiana Jones franchise at the box office on opening weekend, $55.7 million to $46 million. Where the hell were the Lucas/Spielberg Indiana Jones geeks?! We knew something was afoul when even our regular Brooklyn dives were fixing up more Cosmos and fruity drinks last week than in the past year. Sheesh.
