Despite rumors in the UK press over the weekend that The Beatles' catalog would be available thru iTunes in the next few months, both sides--The Beatles' Apple Corps and Apple Computer, respectively--have both answered inquiries on the subject with resounding a 'no comment'. Hmm...
Speculation about the imminent appearance of the Fabs' music on Apple's online retail store has been growing since both parties settled a long-standing trademark dispute in February of last year. Personally, we'd like to see the entire catalog remastered and remixed before it appears anywhere, in any shape or form, but that'll probably happen after people have purchased digital downloads by the truckload.
