Ellie Greenwich, a member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame, who co-wrote such '60s pop classics as "Be My Baby" and "Leader of the Pack" among many others, died on Aug 26th of a heart attack at
New York's St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital where she was being treated for pneumonia.
The Brooklyn native was 68 years old.
