Eels Will Offer Motherlode of Tracks To Fans

On Jan. 15th Geffen will release Meet the Eels: Essential Eels Vol. 1, 1996 - 2006, a retrospective encompassing their years on the label. (The band is currently signed to indie Vagrant Records.) In addition, on the same day, a 50-song collection of b-sides and rarities called Useless Trinkets will be released, with individual liner notes written by head Eel Mark Everett, better known as "E".
