universally known for the Gibson electric guitar model that bears his
name, of course. But he was also a pioneer in the fields of guitar
design, multi-track recording and effects. Which is why he’s in the Rock
and Roll Hall of Fame and the National Inventors Hall of Fame. No one
else has that distinction.
